Based on Canadian author Patrick deWitt’s 2018 best-selling novel, French Exit will follow the story of a wealthy widowed mother and her adult son Frances Price and Malcolm Price, who have a dysfunctional relationship with Frances described as a possessive mother while Malcolm is emotionally-stunted. Joining the duo is their family’s aging cat named Small Frank, who is inhabited by the spirit of Frances’ dead husband.
