DC Announces Multi-Year Original Podcast Partnership with Spotify

Superheroes and supervillains from DC are going to star in your favorite podcasts soon. The American comic book publisher — together with Warner Bros — has just signed a substantial multi-year partnership with Spotify. In the next few months, the music streaming colossus will produce an original slate of narrative scripted podcasts based on existing characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, The Joker, and many others. In addition to the brand new series, the companies will collaborate on some new crossover events in the future. The deal implies that Spotify is getting an annual slate of original dramatic and comedic podcasts developed and produced by Warner Bros.
