After announcing their partnership a couple of weeks ago, Fandango and Lionsgate’s special “Lionsgate Live! A Night at the Movies” has announced its next livestream will be the 2014 action hit John Wick on Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m. PST and will feature special introductions from the stars and filmmakers, including Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry!

Along with Reeves and Berry, who co-starred in the last year’s Chapter 3 — Parabellum, the livestream will feature special introductions from Lance Reddick, who portrays Continental Hotel concierge Charon across all three films, and Asia Kate Dillon, who co-starred as The Adjudicator in Parabellum, and Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, who co-directed the debut installment of the franchise.
In addition to the livestream, Fandango Movieclips, the number one YouTube channel for movie-related content, has put together a “John Wick Ultimate Action Mashup” along with a playlist of clips from the franchise for new and long-time fans to prepare for the pulse-pounding action of Friday’s screening, the former of which can be viewed in the player below!
During the screening, audiences everywhere will have the chance to show support for the country’s temporarily jobless movie theater employees. Audience and partner donations throughout this event will benefit the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping workers throughout the motion picture industry which is currently providing financial assistance to theater employees furloughed by the COVID-19 crisis.

The “John Wick” fan base continues to expand. In April of this year, Fandango surveyed 1,200 movie fans of the franchise and found that:
- 97 percent identify themselves as lifelong fans of Keanu Reeves.
- 86 percent selected the first John Wick as one of the best action movies ever made.
- 81 percent have seen all three John Wick films.
Lionsgate Live! allows fans to watch the studio’s popular catalog titles for free over four consecutive Fridays and launched with “The Hunger Games,” “Dirty Dancing” and “La La Land.” All films are hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis and available to watch on Fandango Movieclips and on Lionsgate’s YouTube page.
