According to Deadline, Disney+ is developing a live-action/CG hybrid remake of Robin Hood with Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting, Legion, High & Mighty) set to direct from a screenplay by Kari Granlund (Lady and the Tramp, Troubleshooters, Godmothered).
The 1973 animated classic was a musical comedy that featured anthropomorphic animals in the role of Robin Hood characters. The movie was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman from a story by Larry Clemmons, along with story sequences by character and story conceptions creator Ken Anderson, Vance Gerry, Frank Thomas, Eric Cleworth, Julius Svendsen, and David Michener.
The animated Robin Hood starred Roger Miller, Peter Ustinov, Terry-Thomas, Brian Bedford, Monica Evans, and Phil Harris.
