According to The Hollywood Reporter, 911: Lone Star actress Natacha Karam has joined the Sylvester Stallone superhero drama, Samaritan. The actress will play the film’s lead role as “a dangerous and unpredictable henchperson to the story’s antagonist” (played by Johan “Pilou” Asbake).

Karam joins Euphoria actor and Junior Olympic boxing prodigy Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton in the film about a young boy who is out to discover if a mythic superhero, who vanished 20 years earlier following a tragic event, is still alive.
Overlord director Julius Avery will helm the project, which also set key cast members Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black) and Moises Arias (Hannah Montana) in unspecified roles.

Avery will direct from a script by Escape Room writer Bragi F. Schut, while Stallone and Braden Aftergood will produce via Balboa Productions.
Karam was also seen in episodes of Homeland, The Brave, Casualty, as well as the film The Hurricane Heist.
The film is scheduled for release on December 11.
