According to Deadline, writer/director David O. Russell and Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale are in talks to re-team for a yet-to-be-titled project that is quickly coming together at New Agency through its deal with Fox/Disney.

Russell will write and direct the project, which teams him with Bale for the third time after the two joined forces on The Fighter (for which Bale won his Oscar) and American Hustle. The outlet notes that the film is likely to draw a very strong cast of name talent.
Per the report, project details are being kept under wraps, though the trade notes production is eyeing an April start date.

Bale recently starred in the hit film Ford v Ferrari alongside Matt Damon. Russell’s last film Joy came way back in 2015 and starred Jennifer Lawrence.
