Deadline reports that Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria) have been cast along with Kristen Connolly (Cabin in the Woods), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan) and Jade Fernandez (Little) in director Adrian Lyne’s forthcoming erotic thriller film Deep Water.
They will be joining previously announced cast members Oscar winner Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas (Knives Out), Tracy Letts (The Lovers) and Rachel Blanchard (Fargo).

Deep Water centers on Vic and Melinda Van Allen (Affleck and de Armas) described as an attractive young married couple whose mind games with each other take a twisted turn when people around them start turning up dead. The couple staves off divorce in a loveless marriage by allowing each to take lovers, but it becomes messy as Highsmith exposed the surface facade of American suburban life.
The film will be directed by Adrian Lyne from a script co-written by Zack Helm (Stranger Than Fiction) and Sam Levinson (Euphoria). It will be executive produced by Garrett Basch and Steven Zaillian along with Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady, Anthony Katagas and Ben Forkner. Arnon Milchon will also serve as producer.

Lyne last directed the 2002 drama Unfaithful, starring Diane Lane and Richard Gere, and made a reputation with steamy erotic films such as Indecent Proposal, Fatal Attraction, and 9 1/2 Weeks.
