After seven long years of waiting, the hit horror-thriller Collector franchise is finally returning with the upcoming threequel The Collected, which is coming along together quickly as the original writers and director Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton have been sharing behind-the-scenes photos of the antagonist, and now returning star Josh Stewart has taken to Twitter to show off his return as Arkin!

The sequel was first announced in May with the reveal that franchise star Josh Stewart would return, debuting a teaser poster for the film. Original writers and director Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan will also be returning to pen and helm the project. Emma Fitzpatrick (The Social Network) will be reprising her role from the previous installment, The Collection.
Stewart’s character, Arkin, was the lone survivor of the Collector’s wrath in the first film, a serial killer with a fondness for elaborately lethal traps used to collect his victims. (If this sounds familiar, the film was initially pitched as a Saw prequel). Stewart returned for The Collection, where he went toe-to-toe with the Collector and ultimately defeated him. While The Collection teased a third installment, it is not entirely clear yet where the third film will fit into the story.
