Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton Swap Bodies in Blumhouse Thriller

According to Deadline, Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton are teaming up for a yet-to-be-titled body-swapping thriller from Blumhouse. The film will be co-written and directed by Chris Landon (Happy Death Day), who also wrote the film along with Michael Kennedy.

The film follows a young girl who suddenly swaps bodies with a deranged serial killer and must reverse the effects within 24 hours before they become permanent.

Vaughn has been on a nice hit streak lately with dramatic appearances in HBO’s True Detective, Mel Gibson’s World War II epic Hacksaw Ridge and starring roles in S. Craig Zahler’s Brawl In Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete (alongside Gibson).

Newton appeared in Detective Pikachu this summer and TV’s Big Little Lies and The Society.
