Kit Harington Will Reportedly Join the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Deadline reports that Jon Snow himself Kit Harrington has lined up a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though what role and which film he will appear in remains to be seen.

An official announcement on his involvement could come later today during the Disney+ Showcase at D23 Expo or tomorrow during the Walt Disney Studios presentation (where feature films will be discussed).

There’s no shortage of potential projects for Harrington to appear in in the MCU as the studio recently revealed its full Phase 4 lineup at San Diego Comic-ConBlack Widow, which is slated for a May 1, 2020 release in U.S. theaters, will be the first film of Phase Four to hit the big screen, followed by The Eternals on November 6, 2020. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. It’s possible Harington is up for a role in a film that has not yet been announced, which we may hear about tomorrow.

Best known for playing the role of Jon Snow in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, Harington has twice been nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for his acting.
