Paramount Lands Rights to Jacob Chase’s Supernatural Thriller Spec Script

According to Deadline, Paramount has scooped up a yet-to-be-titled supernatural thriller spec script from writer-director Jacob Chase, who recently wrapped his first film Larry with Amblin Partners.

Chase will write and direct the new film, which, according to the trade, “revolves around a man with a classified line of work who must take his family on a perilous trip while protecting them from the horror he has in tow.”

The Picture Company partners Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman will produce the horror film, which will decidedly be much larger in scale than Chase’s previous projects.

Larry has yet to receive a release date.
