Paramount Pictures and Fandango have partnered up to bring the story incredible story to the big screen on May 18, just under two weeks prior to its May 31 release, at nearly 400 theaters across the nation, with participating theater chains including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus Theaters, Arclight Cinemas/Pacific Theaters, Harkins Theaters and National Amusements, among others. This will mark the third film the program has offered this year following early screenings of Shazam! and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
“We’re proud to team up with Paramount Pictures to host Early Access Screenings for Rocketman,” says Fandango President Paul Yanover. “Our first two Early Access Screenings generated great buzz for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and Shazam! We think Fandango VIP members and fans will be delighted to have the opportunity to see this highly-anticipated Elton John musical fantasy two weeks before its release date.”
The film will focus on Elton John’s beginnings, starting when he was a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music and carrying over to when he reached global stardom through his influential and enduring musical partnership with his songwriting collaborator Bernie Taupin. It will look at the performer’s life past the glitter saturated image we have grown so accustomed to associating with the performer.
Rocketman stars Taron Egerton (Kingsman: Secret Service) as the famed singer/songwriter, along with Jamie Bell (TURN: Washington’s Spies), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), and Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom).

Rocketman will soar in theaters wide on May 31.
