Although Phillip Noyce was formerly attached to helm, Variety is reporting that House of Sand and Fog director Vadim Perelman has taken over the sci-fi romance Timeless.
Based on a spec script by Bill Kelly (Enchanted), Timeless is said to deal with a man who builds a time machine so that he can travel back and see his recently-deceased wife one last time.
At one point in time, Liam Hemsworth was rumored to headline, but his current involvement with the project is unknown.
Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley are set to produce the project through Relativity Media.
