says that Raffey Cassidy (Snow White and the Huntsman, Dark Shadows) has been added to the cast of Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland. She joins George Clooney and Hugh Laurie in the top-secret science fiction movie.
Cassidy will play a robot child that has been around for many decades, has a history with Clooney’s inventor character, and reportedly knows several different fighting styles.
Tomorrowland is written by Damon Lindelof and Bird from a concept by Lindelof and Jeff Jensen. Lindelof (Star Trek, “LOST,” Prometheus) will produce and Bird (The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol) will produce and direct.
Tomorrowland is set for release on December 19, 2014.
