Lexi will be a comedy series that follows the problem when someone loves their phone more than they love anything or anyone else. It is co-penned and co-directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the creative duo behind The Hangover and Bad Moms. The film is also being produced by Suzanne Todd (Bad Moms) with Mark Ross and Alex Ginno overseeing the film for the studio.

“Speaking for everyone perpetually enamored with, and increasingly terrified by, how well their phone knows them, I look forward to this extraordinary group of actors and filmmakers exploring the side effects of too much tech,” CBS Films’ President Terry Press added. “I think audiences will agree that some romances are better when you disconnect.”
The film will also star Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect), Alexandra Shipp (Tragedy Girls, Dark Phoenix) and Michael Pena (Ant Man and the Wasp). Shipp is set to play the role of Cate, the girlfriend of Devine’ character.
