Billy Crudup (Almost Famous, Watchmen), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Like Crazy), Selena Gomez (Spring Breakers) and Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix Contagion) are set to star alongside William H. Macy (Fargo) and Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) in Unified Pictures music drama Rudderless. Macy will be making his feature directorial debut.
Rudderless is a musical drama about the power of a parents love. When a grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his deceased son’s original music, he forms a band, hoping to find peace in the wake of his tragic loss.
The film is being produced by Keith Kjarval through his Unified Pictures production/finance banner. Principal photography will commence this April in Oklahoma.

Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison adapted the screenplay from the original story they wrote with Macy. Brad Greiner, through his Amberdale production banner, is also producing alongside Kjarval and Unified.
