The Highwaymen follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old-school skills to get the job done.

Texas Ranger Frank Hamer (Costner) and ex-partner Maney Gault (Harrelson), are drawn out of retirement in a last-ditch effort to hunt down Bonnie and Clyde in 1934. The former lawmen were out of the Texas Rangers by the time Bonnie and Clyde began their reign but were commissioned as special investigators to put an end to the crime spree. The couple was believed to have committed 13 murders as well as several robberies and burglaries. The movie will follow the vantage point of Hamer, Gault, and the posse they assembled specifically to hunt down Bonnie and Clyde.
The movie also stars Kathy Bates (Feud), Kim Dickens (Fear the Walking Dead), John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story), Thomas Mann (Kong: Skull Island), and William Sadler (Power).
The Highwaymen was directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) who co-wrote the screenplay with John Fusco (Marco Polo). Casey Silver produced through his Casey Silver Productions. Costner, Harrelson, Michael Malone, and Rod Lake served as executive producers.
