Gordon, Day and Sudeikis to Spend One Night on the Hudson

Seth Gordon, the man behind the recent comedies Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief, is making plans to bring to the screen a new thriller called One Night on the Hudson. The Hollywood Reporter says that Gordon will re-team with both Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis for the Universal Pictures project.

From a spec script by T.J. Fixman, the film follows two cops — one an energetic rookie and one who’s experienced but cynical — as they go up against crooked cops to transport a federal witness along the Huson River.

Day and Sudeikis both signed on last week to reprise their Horrible Bosses roles alongside Jason Bateman for a big screen sequel. Gordon will also be returning to direct that film, eyeing a summer production.
