Lily Collins Invites Mortal Instruments Fans to WonderCon

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones won’t hit theaters until August 23 but, today, leading lady Lily Collins has posted a video that encourages fans to attend Anaheim’s WonderCon, running March 29-31. As you can see in the player below, Collins reveals that the event will host a special film panel and will also reveal a new poster and trailer.

Also starring Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Lena Headey, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner, Jemima West, Godfrey Gao, CCH Pounder, Jared Harris and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the film is directed by Harald Zwart and based on the first book in Cassandra Clare’s book series.

In the film, set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.

If you can’t make it Anaheim later this month, don’t worry, ComingSoon.net will be on hand with full coverage.
