Our recaps of the Easter eggs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe continue with the smallest hero of the MCU, Ant-Man! The conman turned hero was in development for his own movie at Marvel Studios at the same time as Iron Man but didn’t arrive on screen until seven years later. A sequel to the film will arrive later this summer in the form of Ant-Man and The Wasp. Rudd, Douglas, and Lilly all return alongside newcomers Hannah John-Kamen as villain Ghost; with Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, an old friend of Hank Pym’s and the hero Goliath in Marvel comics; and Michelle Pfeiffer as the previously-microscopic Janet van Dyne. Peyton Reed returns to direct the film, which arrives in theaters on July 6.
