September 6 brings home Money Monster, Now You See Me 2, The Flash, Star Trek, Peanuts and more!

The week kicks off with the home entertainment debut of Money Monster, Jodie Foster’s second directorial outing that puts George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Jack O’Connell front and center in a fast-paced thriller. Meanwhile, Jon M. Chu continues the big screen story of the magician team known as the Four Horsemen with the ensemble adventure Now You See Me 2.
Elsewhere, Bryan Cranston and Anthony Mackie headline HBO‘s historical drama All the Wayand Luca Guadagnino’s drama A Bigger Splash(starring Tilda Swinton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Ralph Fiennes and Dakota Johnson) also arrives on Blu-ray. Other recent big screen fare coming home September 6 includes Drake Doremus’ sci-fi thriller Equals(starring Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart), Lorene Scafaria’s The Meddler (starring Rose Byrne and Susan Sarandon), Whit Stillman’s Love and Friendship(starring Kate Beckinsale), the Aaron Kaufman thriller Urge(starring Pierce Brosnan), Greg McLean’s supernatural thriller The Darkness(starring Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell), David Farr’s psychological thriller The Ones Below (starring Clémence Poésy)and Matteo Garrone’s fantasy anthology Tale of Tales(starring Salma Hayek, Vincent Cassel, Toby Jones and John C. Reilly).
There’s a pair of direct to home entertainment sequels arriving September 6. Look for Scott Adkins in Hard Target 2and for Cassie Ventura in Honey 3: Dare to Dance. You can check out an exclusive clip from the former in the player below!
September 6 also brings home, on DVD only, both the action comedy Compadresand the biographical drama Genius.
We’re finally getting a Blu-ray of Brad Bird’s The Iron Giantas the 1999 animated classic arrives in a special edition release.
Peanuts fans should be pleased with the arrival of two classic animated features. Both 1969’s A Boy Named Charlie Brownand 1972’s Snoopy Come Homecome to Blu-ray for the first time September 6.
Shout! Factory continues their Shout Select line this week with a Blu-ray special edition of the 1989 Patrick Swayze actioner Road House. Their Scream Factory label expands, meanwhile, with the addition of Jason Stutter’s recent horror thriller The Dead Room.
There are also quite a few small screen titles coming home September 6, including the massive Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection. The iconic series celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this week and the new set combines every episode of the original series with the first six movies and, for the first time, an HD release of Star Trek: The Animated Series.
