The week begins with recent big-screen hits like Concussion, starring Will Smith (which also arrives in a 4K edition). Also coming home March 29 is Quentin Tarantino’s critically-acclaimed 70mm western The Hateful Eight and Warner Bros. Pictures‘ recent Point Break remake. You can check out original Point Break star Keanu Reeves, meanwhile, in the new crime thriller Exposed.
Shout Factory continues to impress this week with a special edition of director Geoffrey Wright’s 2000 slasher satire Cherry Falls. They’ve also got a new double feature disc that brings to HD both Murder in the Rue Morgue and The Dunwich Horror.
The Criterion Collection this week upgrades Bicycle Thieves to Blu-ray and inducts Les Blank’s legendary Leon Russell documentary A Poem is a Naked Person.
As for small screen favorites, March 29 brings home the sixth season of the animated spy comedy Archer, the first season of the sci-fi series Humans and, on DVD only, the 35th volume of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Digital HD this week brings both Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival and Norm of the North on March 29 with J.J. Abrams’ hugely-successful Star Wars: The Force Awakens set to debut digitally this Friday, April 1.
