Interview with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’s Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland and Elizabeth Banks
Possibly one of the biggest takes aways from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which puts an end to the movie series based on Suzanne Collins‘ books this coming Friday, November 20, is that it’s essentially turned into a war between District 13 President Alma Coin (played by Julianne Moore) and Panem’s President Snow (Donald Sutherland), who has holed himself up in the Capitol surrounded by traps.
A few weeks back, ComingSoon.net had a chance to talk to Moore, Sutherland and Elizabeth Banks, who returns as Effie Trinket, at the Berlin junket for “Mockingjay Part 2,” talking about the correlations between Panem’s Presidential conflict with the real world, as well as talking to Banks about where she saw Effie Trinket post-“The Hunger Games.” We also asked Moore about her many scenes with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
