Interview with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth
It’s been a long road bringing Suzanne Collins’ bestselling “The Hunger Games” books to the big screen and the saga is now coming to its conclusion with next week’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
In the epic finale, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen leads the District 13’s elite task force Squad 451 alongside Liam Hemsworth’s Gale and Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta against the Capitol’s President Snow (Donald Sutherland). As the war wages across Panem, the trio need to deal with unresolved issues after Peeta has been released by Snow and Gale is starting to harden from the rigors of war.
ComingSoon.net went to Berlin, Germany, where the production spent a month shooting on various locations, to talk to the Mockingjay Part 2 stars at the junket, and you can watch our interview with Lawrence, Hutcherson and Hemsworth in the player below. We spoke to them about the evolution of their characters, Gale and Peeta’s pivotal scene together and what the actors might want to do next.
