Jurassic World Rebirth premieres in U.S. theaters on July 2, 2025, and the first trailer for the movie was released recently, on February 5. It features Scarlett Johansson’s Zora Bennett, Mahershala Ali’s Duncan Kincaid, Jonathan Bailey’s Dr. Henry Loomis, Rupert Friend’s Martin Krebs, and lots of dinosaurs. Here is a list of those pre-historic reptilian animals that appear in the trailer and will probably be part of the movie.
List of all dinosaurs revealed in the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer
Jurassic World Rebirth takes place five years after what happened in Jurassic World Dominion (2022) and follows a group of humans as they travel to the tropical regions where the dinosaurs now reside to collect DNA samples of the three largest creatures. Several of the dinosaurs that we see in the trailer have already appeared in the previous entries in the Jurassic Park franchise.
1. Tyrannosaurus Rex
No Jurassic Park feature is complete without the appearance of a T-Rex, and it seems Jurassic World Rebirth will not be an exception, as the presumed apex predator from the Cretaceous period appears more than once in the trailer.
2. Mosasaurus
The Mosasaurus also appears in the trailer and is part of the boat sequence, in which it seemingly threatens Zora and her team.
3. Dilophosaurus
Those who have watched the first Jurassic Park movie (1993) will instantly recognize this particular rendition of the Dilophosaurus. Unlike its real-life counterpart, the Dilophosaurus in the franchise has frills and is venomous. The trailer shows that the creature in the movie at least has the first trait.
4. Spinosaurus
We first saw the Spinosaurus in the franchise in Jurassic Park III (2001). In the trailer, a group of Spinosaurus appears in the boat sequence along with the Mosasaurus.
5. New Hybrid Dinosaur
All dinosaurs in the franchise are technically hybrids, made with DNAs from pre-historic and modern animals. The Jurassic World movies take it up a notch and depict nightmarish new dinosaurs created with the same method. The trailer indicates that Jurassic World Rebirth will follow this pattern by having its own new hybrid dinosaur.
6. Velociraptor
The famous clawed foot of a Velociraptor appears in one of the scenes in the trailer, indicating that this particular group of dinosaurs will be part of the narrative.
7. Quetzalcoatlus
The trailer hints that the Quetzalcoatlus is one of the three dinosaurs whose DNA the team wants to collect, and it inevitably leads Zora and the others to a confrontation with these flying creatures.
8. Titanosaurus
We also see a pair of Titanosaurus in the trailer. If they are featured in the movie, it will be their first appearance in the Jurassic Park canon.
