While often appearing in his movies himself, technically making him the actor Quentin Tarantino uses most, the filmmaker has a steady and trustworthy group of actors he always circles back to, no matter what the film.

A close ally of Tarantino’s since the very beginning with Reservoir Dogs, frequent Martin Scorsese collaborator Harvey Keitel has aligned himself with Quentin’s filmography multiple times since 1992. Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Inglorious Basterds all feature Keitel.

Michael and James Parks
Quentin Tarantino has long been a fan of actor Michael Parks, so it only makes sense he’d allow Michael’s son James to be a part of his films as well. One or both of the Parks have appeared in From Dusk Till Dawn, Kill Bill, Death Proof, Django Unchained, and The Hateful Eight.

Samuel L. Jackson
Probably the most instantly recognizable of Tarantino’s troupe, Samuel L. Jackson has more or less been with the filmmaker since the moment before he was launched into international success with Pulp Fiction. Jackson appeared in Tarantino’s True Romance in 1993, then appeared in everything but Death Proof and Four Rooms from then on (counting both parts of Kill Bill as one film, of course).

Uma Thurman
Tarantino and Thurman seemed inseparable at first. After appearing in Pulp Fiction and making a huge impression on audiences everywhere, Tarantino cast the actress to star in Kill Bill. After she was injured in a car crash that he insisted she film without a stuntperson, Thurman and Tarantino never worked again. Still, their collaborations are certainly worth noting—especially since Thurman has stated she’d work with the filmmaker again.

Zoe Bell
Speaking of stuntpeople, stunt performer-turned-actress Zoe Bell has been slowly working her way to the forefront of Tarantino’s filmography since appearing in Death Proof back in 2007. Since then, Bell has scored parts in Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood.
