Magnolia Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with a first look at their new TV spot for David Gordon Green’s Prince Avalanche, the Pineapple Express director’s return to his indie roots with a smaller and quieter film starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch.
Set in the aftermath of a devastating forest fire, Rudd and Hirsch play two road workers forced to work together to fix the damages, although each of them have their own issues to deal with and neither of them necessarily want to talk about them with the other.

Prince Avalanche will be available in select cities and on VOD on Friday, August 9. You can find a full list of theaters where it’s opening on the 9th and in the weeks that follow on Magnolia’s official site.
