David Lynch and Kyle MacLachlan
David Lynch first teamed with young up-and-comer Kyle MacLachlan in 1984 for his adaptation of the sci-fi classic Dune. From there, the two would work again on 1986’s Blue Velvet, 1990’s Twin Peaks, 1992’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and 2017’s Twin Peaks: The Return. (Lynch also frequently works with Laura Dern and the late, great Jack Nance.)
