Leave it to Craig Robinson to face the apocalypse twice in one month. Although he’ll be playing himself as a hapless victim of the whole affair in next week’s This is the End, this Friday sees the Peeples and “The Office” star playing the biggest bad himself, starring as “The Beast” in this Friday’s Rapture-Palooza.
Also starring Anna Kendrick, John Francis Daley, Rob Corddry, Ana Gasteyer, John Michael Higgins, Rob Huebel, Tom Lennon, Ken Jeong, Paul Scheer, Mike OConnell, Adrianna Costa, Jesse Camacho, Calum Worthy and Tyler Labine, the Rapture-Palooza features a script by Chris Matheson and is directed by Paul Middleditch.
Lindsey (Kendrick) and Ben (Daley) are a couple that find themselves left behind on Earth after billions are raptured. Although they try to leave a normal life in the aftermath of the end of the world, it’s the arrival of The Beast and his immediate affection for Lindsey that puts the world’s remaining population in danger.
