Jin’s military discharge day: RM drops BTS comeback year with reunion photo on Instagram
Kim Seokjin’s discharge day has confirmed BTS’ comeback year. Recently, RM took to Instagram to celebrate Jin’s return by posting the OT7 picture with the caption “2025.” Hence, fans were assured that 2025 will mark BTS’ comeback to the music scene.
According to the enlistment dates of various members, the rest of the Bangtan Boys will finish their military training in June 2025. Suga will be the last BTS member discharged from the military around June 22, 2025. Per the speculation, the K-pop septet will make a comeback in the third or fourth quarter of 2025.
In addition, a recent Korean media report suggested that the band will return in 2025. BTS’ new album next year will serve as a 10th-anniversary celebratory album of their 2015 creation, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life (Hwayangyeonhwa).
HYBE Label founder Bang Si Hyuk discussed BTS’ upcoming comeback plans in 2023, saying, “We talked about making a commemorative album for the 10th anniversary of the release of the album ‘Hwayang Yeonhwa’ released in 2015, and we ended up making it together.”
Namjoon also disclosed his thoughts about the possible comeback in his interview with band member Suga last year. He shared, “We talked about how 2025 would be a year most of our members complete their service. It’s also the monumental year when “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” album would turn ten years old. So then we’re probably going to be able to do something. I think we’re going to try and keep that promise.”
Meanwhile, BTS ARMY will celebrate Jin’s homecoming with a special Festa event on June 13 at Seoul’s Jamsil Arena. The event will be divided into two parts. The second part will be accessible to global fans through Weverse Live.
