Ateez Golden Hour Part 1: Release Date, Time & Tracklist of New Album

K-pop act Ateez is making its much-awaited comeback in 2024 with the new mini album, Golden Hour Part 1. The boy group’s music label, KQ Entertainment, shared the release date, time, and track list of the upcoming EP.

Ateez released their previous studio album, The World EP.Fin: Will, on December, 2023. Within a week of its release, it sold over 1.7 million copies and became one of the group’s best-seller albums. After the impressive success of The World EP series, Ateez fans are waiting to see the beginning of the new Golden Hour era, which will be unveiled soon.

Release date and track list of Ateez comeback album explained

Ateez’s 2024 comeback album, Golden Hour Part 1, will drop on May 31 at 1 p.m. KST, 12 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. BST, 6 a.m. CEST and 9.30 a.m. IST. The music video for the title track “Work” will be unveiled on the official YouTube channel of KQ Entertainment at the same time.

The track list of Golden Hour Part 1 contains six tracks, including:

  • “Golden Hour”
  • “Blind”
  • “Work” (Title Track)
  • “Empty Box”
  • “Shaboom”
  • “Siren”

As per the preview of Golden Hour Part 1, the mini album will evoke nostalgia with dream pop and heavy bass songs. The teaser of “Work,” especially, has already impressed K-pop fans, where Ateez sings, “Gotta work, gotta make that money/Make purse, got a fur coat on/ So I make it purr/ Given them whiplash when they see me earn.”

Meanwhile, Ateez’s previous album, The World EP.Fin: Will has made history. The studio album became Ateez’s first Billboard 200 topper, selling over 146,000 copies in the United States within a week of its release. Before the success of The World EP.Fin: Will, their EP The World EP.2: Outlaw had ranked second on Billboard 200 with over 101,000 sales in the first week.

Followed by Ateez’s comeback, the group will start their world tour 2024 on July 14. The “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER” tour will include nine venues and conclude on August 10.
