According to a report by Dispatch, Aespa’s Karina and The Impossible Heir star Lee Jae-Wook have been dating since meeting at a fashion show in Milan on January 14 this year. Later, the agencies of the Korean artists responded to the dating report.
K-drama star Lee Jae Wook made his acting debut in 2018 with the science fiction thriller Memories of the Alhambra. Within a few years, he gained prominence with his roles in popular dramas, including Extraordinary You and Search: WWW. He made his big screen debut with the film The Battle of Jangsari in 2019. Furthermore, Lee Jae Wook‘s lead role in Alchemy of Souls earned him multiple awards, including the Global Excellence Award in the 2022 Korea Drama Awards.
On the other hand, Karina made her music debut in 2020 in SM Entertainment’s girl group Aespa and has since been recognized as one of the rising K-pop stars with global influence.
Agencies confirm Karina and Lee Jae Wook’s dating report
The labels of Aespa’s Karina and Lee Jae-Wook have confirmed the artists’ relationship reports. As per Lee Jae-Wook’s agency C-JeS Studio, “The two are now getting to know each other.” The agency further noted, “As Lee Jae-Wook is filming and this is his private life, we ask that you respect it with warm eyes.”
Aespa’s label SM Entertainment stated, “They are only now getting to know each other.”
As per Dispatch, Karina and Lee Jae Wook met at the Prada Fashion Show in Milan. Clips from the fashion event showed Karina’s comfortable interactions with Lee Jae-Wook.
The Korean media report claimed Karina has been frequenting Lee Jae Wook’s neighborhood since their first meeting. The pair also takes late-night walks in the area, as per photos shared by Dispatch.
With this, Karina and Lee Jae-Wook join some of the most famous K-pop-K-drama celebrities who had once confirmed dating. The most recent K-celebrity couple who sent fans into a frenzy by confirming their dating news was Jisoo and actor Ahn Bo Hyun. Later, Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun confirmed their breakup in September 2023.
