DK’s Nakseo: Release Date and Tracklist of IKON Star’s First Solo Album

K-pop group IKON‘s DK is gearing up for his first solo album, Nakseo‘s release. After thriving in group activities, the member will show a different side of the artistic side of his persona through the solo album’s release.

Formerly managed by YG Entertainment, the K-pop group IKON debuted in 2015 as a seven-piece band. Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, June, Chan, and B.I. made waves with their debut album, Welcome Back. The album peaked at number one in South Korea’s Gaon Album chart with over 260,000 sales in Asia, and its tracks collectively sold over 4.8 million copies.

Since then, the members of IKON have had several comebacks and launched their solo careers. After almost a decade since his debut, it is DK, aka Donghyuk’s, turn. With his album release, the 27-year-old K-pop star will embark on a new solo journey.

DK’s Nakseo confirms release date and tracklist

Before the official drop, DK dropped a stunning mood film for the album. Going by the teaser, the album promises to be edgy and filled with peppy beats. The sneak peek of “Groovin” shows DK in a dimly lit bar, staring at someone before he starts dancing with the crowd with a groovy beat.

The tracklist of Nakseo includes:

  • INTRO. “모른척해 줘 (Pretend you don’t know)”
  • “Groovin”
  • “오랜만이야 (LTNS)”
  • “Now On”
  • “작은 새 (Dickey)” (Ft. Punch)
  • “지겨워 (Boring)”
  • “Still in my” (Ft. Bobby)
  • “없나 (Is there any?)”
  • “장르 (Genre)”

The inclusion of popular Korean artists Bobby and Punch has also raised expectations, as both have their repertoire of releasing bangers.

Meanwhile, IKON left YG Entertainment on December 30, 2022. DK is managed by 143 Entertainment, home of the K-pop group LIMELIGHT, Bobby, and Jay.
