Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) recently unveiled their 2024 lineup of K-pop performers. The star-studded list features Stray Kids, DAY6, The Boyz, Fantasy Boys, and more.
ASEA 2024 will be the first edition of the Asia Star Entertainer Awards, sponsored by Korean media outlet Newsen. In addition to the presence of various notable K-pop artists and groups, ASEA will celebrate Asian artists who have made an impact with their performances in various entertainment genres in the past year.
Date and lineup of the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024 revealed
Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024 will occur on April 10, 2024, at K- Arena Yokohama in Yokohama City, Japan, at 5.30 p.m. KST/ 4.30 a.m. ET. K-pop and K-drama stars 2PM’s Taecyeon and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri will be hosting the first edition of the ceremony.
The lineup of the show includes Treasure, TXT, JO1, INI, Taemin, The Rampage from The Exile Tribe, Creepy Nuts, Stray Kids, Day6, The Boyz, STAYC, NiziU, Fantasy Boys and Billie.
Along with the K-pop performers’ lineup for ASEA 2024, the ceremony has also introduced renowned actor Song Seung-Heon and rising Korean star Jeon Yeo-bin as presenters.
In other news, before the grand start of ASEA 2024, K-pop fans are looking forward to two more award shows in February 2024. The 31st edition of the Hanteo Music Awards will happen on February 17 and 18, 2024. Aespa, Zerobaseone, Jung Dong Won, Kim Jae Hwan, KISS OF LIFE, tripleS, VIVIZ, PLAVE, Parc Jae Jung, LUCY, Lee Chan Won, and Daybreak will be joining the award show.
Actor and singer Jo Kwon, aka the leader of 2AM, will be presenting at the ceremony. Fly to the Sky’s Brian, Apink’s Yoon Bomi, Byul, and Gabee are also confirmed as the show’s presenters. KARA’s Han Seung Yeon, g.o.d ’s Danny Ahn, Jung In, Kim Jong Seo, Lee Won Seok, and Cho Hang Jo will wear presenters’ hats this year.
The 21st Korean Music Awards, followed by the Hanteo Music Awards, will be held on February 29, 2024, at 8 p.m. KST. Notably, BTS Jungkook has snagged three major nominations in the KMA 2024.
