NCT‘s Thai superstar Ten is gearing up for his solo album release. Ahead of the album’s reveal, Ten sent fans into a frenzy by sharing an edgy trailer for the title track, “Nightwalker.”
Ten, aka Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul, debuted with NCT in 2016 and slowly carved his solo K-pop career while thriving in group activities. The 27-year-old released his first solo song, Dream In A Dream, in 2017 as part of SM Station season 2.
The solo debut of the Thai icon made fans speechless. The infusion of the calming synths with the cultural sounds and the peppy tune of the track overall was a banger. Since then, Ten has released several solo tracks. However, the album titled Ten will mark his first-ever album release with over six tracks.
Release date and tracklist of Ten’s solo album revealed
NCT Ten’s solo album Ten will be released worldwide on February 13 at 6 p.m. KST/ 4 a.m. ET/1 a.m. PT. Along with the album’s release on music platforms, the official music video of the title track, Nightwalker, will also drop simultaneously on SMTOWN’s YouTube channel.
The mini-album Ten consists of six tracks:
- “Light On”
- “ON TEN”
- “Lie With You”
- “Fouce On”
- “Dangerous”
- “Nightwalker”
Fitting with Ten’s track titles, NCT fans expect a sci-fi and futuristic-themed music video for the song “Nightwalker.” Ten excels at delivering EDM-based dance bops, so the self-titled album is building high hopes from K-pop fans who love Ten’s edgy style of music.
Ten is passionate about trying new things and has kept his word about surprising fans with the new album’s teaser. In a Billboard interview, the singer discussed his zeal to unearth new art styles.
“I keep finding new concepts by watching movies, looking at tattoo pictures from Instagram, other artists’ photoshoots, fashion shows. If you see luxury brands’ fashion shows, they have their own concept and each year it changes. I’m into that. I’ll say, “Okay, I like this kind of stuff so let me keep it to myself, look at other stuff and mix it together,” the NCT rockstar shared.
Meanwhile, the NCT star will hold a sold-out fan concert in Seoul, followed by Ten’s solo album release.
