The Song Kang starrer hit K-drama Sweet Home season 3 has landed on Netflix’s Global Top 10 weekly list of non-English shows. In other words, it has become one of the ten most-watched non-English shows of the week, from July 22, 2024, to July 28, 2024.
Since the debut of season 3, which is also the final season of Sweet Home, it has received a lot of appreciation from fans. The final season’s compelling storyline, brilliant cinematography, and acting by the lead cast has captured the hearts of many viewers. Especially, the cathartic ending of the Netflix series remains one of the most talked-about scenes in the world of K-drama.
Sweet Home Season 3 ranks second on Netflix Global Top 10 (Non English)
As mentioned earlier, Sweet Home season 3 is now one of the 10 most popular non-English shows on Netflix. At the same time, it has garnered a total of 4.9 million views globally in the last week. As per the global streaming platform, it was viewed for a total of 19,900,000 hours that week.
Season 3 of the Korean apocalyptic saga featured a series of fascinating events. A colossal war between humans and monsters took place, which ended with the defeat of the monster version of Sang-Won.
The final season also saw the emergence of neohumans, those who are reborn from the cocoon. It further showed the return of Lee Do-Hyun’s character, Lee Eun-Hyuk, as a neohuman. The show’s ending saw the birth of a new era, where humans and half-humans like Hyun-Su (Song Kang) gave space to neohumans in their new society.
