Good Boy is an upcoming comedy-action K-drama that is all set to debut on JTBC in the second half of 2024. JTBC has revealed the full main cast list for the brand-new series on its official Instagram channel on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. As per the Instagram post, the highly anticipated Korean drama will star popular South Korean actors Park Bo-Gum and Kim So-Hyun, among other noteworthy actors.
Park Bo-Gum has recently come into the spotlight for playing one of the lead roles in the 2024 Korean sci-fi movie Wonderland opposite Bae Suzy. Meanwhile, actress Kim So-Hyun has been receiving a lot of positive attention for playing the female lead in the ongoing tvN K-drama Serendipity’s Embrace. Thus, fans are excited to see the two actors as the central pair in JTBC’s Good Boy.
Good Boy K-drama JTBC: Who is in the cast?
As mentioned earlier, JTBC has recently disclosed all the actors in the main cast of Good Boy. Apart from Park Bo-Gum and Kim So-Hyun, it includes Oh Jung-Se, Lee Sang-Yi, Tae Won-Seok, and Heo Sung-Tae.
Park Bo-Gum is all set to portray the male lead, Yoon Dong-Ju. The character is an Olympic gold medalist in boxing who goes on to become a police officer due to some obstacles in life. In the meantime, Kim So-Hyun will portray the female lead, Ji Han-Na. She is also an Olympic gold medalist in shooting. The character also changes her career path and becomes a police officer after an unexpected event.
Actor Oh Jung-Se will play Min Joo-Young, and Lee Sang-Yi will portray Kim Jong-Hyeon in Good Boy. Meanwhile, the audience will see actor Tae Won-Seok portraying the role of Shin Jae-Hong and Heo Sung-Tae playing the character of Ko Man-Sik.
Well-known screenplay writer Lee Dae-II has served as the writer of the K-drama, while renowned director Shim Na-Yeon has helmed the series. She is best known for directing the popular K-dramas, including The Good Bad Mother, Beyond Evil, and others.
The upcoming Korean series Good Boy will air in the second half of 2024 on JTBC.
