Disney Plus original K-drama Red Swan aired episode 7 on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 4 p.m. KST on the streaming platform. The series documents the journey of successful golfer Oh Wan-Soo (Kim Ha-Neul), who heads the charitable NOW Foundation after marrying into the elite Hwain Group. She comes across her bodyguard, Seo Do-Yoon (Rain), who holds a secret and makes it a mission to expose the conglomerate.
Episode 7 of Red Swan saw Oh Wan-Soo and Seo Do-Yoon navigate many challenges in their mission to expose Hwain Group’s secrets. Chairwoman Park Mi-Ran and fund manager Han Sang-Il made a game plan to get the conglomerate’s ledgers from Do-Yoon’s possession. However, Sang-Il had another plan to get his son Yong-Min involved with the NOW Foundation as most of late Chairman Kim Duo’s funds went toward that.

This week’s episode of Red Swan began with Oh Wan-Soo dealing with her brother Oh Hyun-Soo’s arrest on embezzlement charges. She visited her brother to check on him, asking him to stay quiet during interrogation. Hyun-Soo hinted at having evidence against the conglomerate, ensuring no damage to him. Upon Sang-Il’s visit, Hyun-Soo revealed details about the Chairwoman’s fraudulent accounts using borrowed names and the conglomerate’s bribes. Sang-Il ordered to keep those secrets safe, assuring Hyun-Soo a bail.
Han Sang-Il confronts Kim Yong-Min
During his time with Hyun-Soo, the latter suspected Kim Yong-Min of tipping off the prosecution. Sang-Il told him that it was Do-Yoon who had stolen the ledgers and handed it over to the prosecution. Although Sang-Il knew it was his son Yong-Min, he lied to raise the suspicion in Hyun-Soo’s mind. Later, Sang-Il confronted Yong-Min about his actions and asked him to lie low after the incident.
Later, while conversing with his wife, Yong-Min expressed his desire to take over Hwain Group and not have his brother Kim Yong-Guk become the heir. He further asked his wife to take care of the duty-free shop investment.
Oh Wan-Soo suspects Seo Do-Yoon
During their conversation with Oh Wan-Soo, Chairwoman Park Mi-Ran and Hang Sang-Il raised doubts about Do-Yoon handing the ledgers to the prosecution. Wan-Soo revealed that she asked for those ledgers to help make the foundation an international organization. The two suspected of a love affair between Wan-Soo and Do-Yoon.
Later, Mi-Ran ordered Sang-Il to kill Do-Yoon. However, Wan-Soo expressed that she would hand over the ledgers to them after taking them from Do-Yoon. While leaving, Sang-Il met with Do-Yoon, asking him to return the ledgers. However, Do-Yoon refused, leaving Sang-Il frustrated. Sang-Il then went to Jang Tae-Ra, asking her to stop her family’s investment.
Oh Wan-Soo & Seo Do-Yoon have an important discussion about the ledgers
At night, Do-Yoon gave Wan-Soo an important update about the ledgers. After Wan-Soo doubted him about tipping the prosecution, Do-Yoon clarified that the slush funds had been returned to Chairwoman Park Mi-Ran and had not been used against her or her brother Hyun-Soo. The two bonded over finding out the secret behind the ledgers. Wan-Soo worried about Do-Yoon getting hurt. However, he promised to protect her.
Meanwhile, Jang Tae-Ra and her mother planned to make the embezzlement news public. After they tipped off reporters, Hwain Group became the center of news pages on suspicions of NOW Foundation’s embezzlement and Wan-Soo potentially getting a divorce from Yong-Guk. Han Sang-Il promised Mi-Ran to take care of the situation.
Hang Sang-Il makes his game plan
During a conversation with Mi-Ran, Sang-Il suggested covering up the embezzlement news with rumors of Wan-Soo’s affair with Do-Yoon. The two sent Wan-Soo to Busan with Do-Yoon for Hwain Resort’s anniversary celebrations, stating Yong-Guk would join them after a meeting. Wan-Soo then left as instructed.
Meanwhile, Sang-Il met with a lawyer whose law firm had Hwain Group as a client for the longest time. Before the lawyer arrived, Sang-Il reflected on his conversation with the late Chairman Kim Duo, who told him about his will. However, Kim Duo revealed that the will would only be made public on his 70th birthday.
During his meeting with the lawyer, Sang-Il discovered that the late Chairman had adjusted most funds towards the NOW Foundation. He planned an attack on Wan-Soo and to have it framed on Do-Yoon. He ordered K1 to attack this time without fail.

Oh Wan-Soo & Seo Do-Yoon get attacked
Wan-Soo and Do-Yoon spent time growing closer to each other in Busan. Meanwhile, Sang-Il deliberately delayed Yong-Guk’s meeting so that K1 could click pictures of the two together. After clicking photographs, K1 proceeded to attack Wan-Soo. Do-Yoon arrived in time to save her and fought with K1. The episode ended with K1 attacking Wan-Soo and leaving her unconscious. Do-Yoon held the knife and began his battle with K1. Meanwhile, Sang-Il told Yong-Min to take over the NOW Foundation.
