Our Blues Actor Added to Kim Go-Eun’s Upcoming K-Drama

Our Blues actor Choi Young-Joon is set to feature in Kim Go-Eun’s upcoming K-drama The Price of Confession, as per a report by Star News. The series follows the journey of two women entangled in a murder case. As of now, the release timeline or date of the series remains unknown. Moreover, the drama has garnered significant attention because of its thriller genre, storyline and a star-studded cast.

Choi Young-Joon is a popular actor who is well-known for his role in the K-drama Our Blues. Furthermore, director Lee Jung-Hyo of Crash Landing On You and Doona! fame will helm the upcoming series. Kim Go-Eun’s upcoming K-drama adds Choi Young-Joon

The Price of Confession follows the journey of two women, who find themselves trapped in a gruesome murder case. On June 25, Star News reported that actor Choi Young-Joon will join Kim Go-Eun as one of the cast members in the series. In response to the report, the actor’s agency ACE FACTORY said, “Choi Young Joon has received an offer to star in the drama and is currently reviewing it.”

Meanwhile, Kim Go-Eun is in talks to play Mo Eun, who is a psychopath. Jeon Do-Yeon is considering the role of the second woman, Ahn Yoon-Soo, an art teacher navigating her husband’s tragic loss. Choi Young-Joon has been reportedly offered to play the role of public defender Jin Young-In. He is a professor in a university law school when he becomes Mo-Eun’s attorney.

Previously, it was also reported that Jin Sun-Kyu would also star as one of the lead cast members. He is reportedly in talks to play boxer-turned-lawyer Jang Jeong-Goo. Ahn Yoon-Soo will appoint him as her defense attorney in the show.
