Twinkling Watermelon star Ryeoun confirms Weak Hero Class 2 premiere
In a recent event, Ryeoun confirmed the release month of Weak Hero Class 2. While interacting with the media at a Hong Kong event, he mentioned that he had wrapped up the filming of the second season. He further stated that the cast had a wrap-up celebration and that the series is set to premiere in January 2025.
Based on a webtoon, the series revolves around how a student fights against bullies in school. He makes two best friends, and their techniques help them survive at school. Although the storyline looks similar to many K-dramas, the characters are well-written, and thus season 1 became quite popular.
In the upcoming season, Ji-Hoon as Yeon Shi-Eun will transfer to a new school with Ryeoun as Park Hu-Min. They will face a violent and notorious group of kids named Alliance. Na-Ra and Jun-Young as Na Baek-Jin and Kaum Seong-Je, respectively, will play the school bullies of this group.
With new faces and an interesting plot, Weak Hero Class 2 is all set to air next year in January on Netflix.
