KBS’ ongoing K-drama Dare to Love Me, starring Kim Myung-Soo and Lee Yoo-Young in the lead roles, is slowly gaining popularity. While Myung-Soo plays the male lead, Shin Yoon-Bok, a Confucian scholar and aspiring webtoon writer, Yoo-Young portrays Kim Hong-Do, his teacher, a fashion designer, and his future love interest. The viewers are interested to know more about Yoo-Young.
Yoo-Young is a beautiful South Korean actress who made her debut in 2014 with Late Spring. Later, she became the first Korean to win the Best Actress award at the 14th Milan International Film Festival for her performance in the film. After that, she has been featured in a few K-dramas and movies. Now, she is receiving appreciation for portraying Kim Hong-Do in Dare to Love Me.

In Dare to Love Me, Lee Yoo-Young is playing Kim Hong-Do. She is a modern-day woman who knows how to stand up for herself despite being walked over at her workplace. She faces daily struggles at work but also knows the toughness of the fashion industry. Hong-Do wants to become a great designer one day. Apart from her miserable work life, her personal life is also not so great. The drama shows Kim Hong-Do has a toxic boyfriend until Shin Yoon-Bok comes to her rescue.
She has been Yoon-Bok’s teacher for a while in the past, which is why Yoon-Bok respects her a lot. But does she want to be his teacher only, or is there a presence of other feelings? In the last few episodes, Shin Yoon-Bok and Kim Hong-Do have come closer than before. Their bond is growing; however, it has to be seen when their love blooms.
