The 8 Show on Netflix: Chun Woo-Hee’s character explained

As mentioned earlier, actress Chun Woo-Hee, referred to as 8th Floor, plays a significant role in Netflix’s The 8 Show. Her character turns out to be the main antagonist of the story after she starts utilizing her unfair power to torment the other contestants in the game show. Throughout the drama, she represents the upper class of society.

Chun Woo-Hee’s character, 8th Floor, arrives outside the building of the game show in a white limousine, wearing a fancy dress. She finds the place extremely fascinating and feels right at home. By the look on her face, it is clear that she does not have any intention of leaving the place. Luck seems to be in her favor as she picks the No. 8 card. It gives her the highest position inside the building. She gets the best room on the 8th floor, and the value percentage of her individual money account is also the highest. Thus, she freely spends the money to buy everything she wants.

However, soon, she starts using her powerful position in the building to torture other participants who have a lower position. She first teams up with some of the other selfish contestants, and together, they torment others to entertain the audience. This also gives the participants a lot more time inside the place, which means they will have a chance to win more money.

Meanwhile, after some time, her torture gets out of hand. Thus, the participants finally gather the courage to revolt against her and her team. However, she strategically regains her upper position and begins tormenting others with sleep deprivation.

In the final episode, she again loses her position. It happens after the others team up to end her wrath in the building. After the game ends, she leaves the place like the others with the money she has won in the game. At the end of the series, it is disclosed that her name is Song Sera, and she is a performance artist.

After returning from the game show, she hires an excavator and destroys an entire art gallery. She then has to use all her money from the show to compensate for all the losses to the gallery. She even gets arrested. Thus, it does not end well for Chun Woo-Hee’s character in The 8 Show.
