Amid all of the popular works, Byun Yo-Han is considering featuring in the upcoming K-drama Reborn. His agency declared the potential chances of him appearing in the drama.
Reborn is a fantasy-based K-drama centered on Hwanin’s life story. In ancient Korean mythology, Hwanin is the ruler of the Heavens who can possess the power to remember one’s past lives. Lee Dong-Yoon will direct the drama. He is best known for his works, including The Greatest Love, She Would Never Know, and more.
Byun Yo-Han is in talks to play an important role in Reborn
The South Korean actor’s agency, TEAMHOPE, told Newsen, “Byun Yo-Han has received the offer to star in ‘Reborn’ and is currently reviewing it with a positive outlook.” If he says yes, he will play Baek Beom, a police officer who can see others’ past lives. The actor is currently leading the charts with his performance in Disney Plus’ ongoing drama Uncle Samsik.
Byun Yo-Han, who debuted in 2011 and later featured in Mr. Sunshine, one of the highest-rated dramas, is now garnering much attention. He then worked in Six Flying Dragons and took a hiatus for two years.
In a recent interview with Newsis, he talked about it and said, “I filmed an independent film non-stop. Then, when I came to a bigger field, I felt pressured and worked non-stop, so I felt a little unwell. I started shaking and couldn’t breathe, so I thought, ‘I won’t be able to act for a while.’”
