Frankly Speaking episode 5 is set to air in May 2024 on JTBC and Netflix. Starring Go Kyung-Pyo and Kang Han-Na, the K-drama revolves around a TV announcer and his struggle to socialize with people after an accident.
In the previous episode, Song Ki-Baek (Go Kyung-Pyo) and On Woo-Joo (Kang Han-Na) found comfort in each other’s company. Ki-Baek struggled to spend a day without work, while Woo-Joo swallowed her pride for her new variety show. In the end, the two realized they could help each other. Ki-Baek agreed to participate in her variety show alongside her ex-boyfriend, Kim Jung-Heon (Joo Jong-Hyuk).
The network recently released the trailer for Frankly Speaking’s upcoming episode. It features Ki-Baek and Jung-Heon as the lead cast members in a dating show.

Frankly Speaking episode 5 will premiere on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 8.50 p.m. KST on JTBC. The K-drama is also available to stream on Netflix.
The upcoming episode’s trailer shows Song Ki-Baek and Kim Jung-Heon competing in a reality dating show. On Woo-Joo believes that Ki-Baek will do well in her variety show. The female cast members on the show’s set are Jung-Heon’s fans, while Ki-Baek tries hard to impress them. However, his efforts lead to awkward situations.
Ki-Baek also gets upset with Woo-Joo after witnessing her bond with Jung-Heon. In the trailer, the ex-lovers seem to reminisce about their old days, which makes Ki-Baek jealous. He tells her, “I don’t want you to think about the old days [with Jung-Heon].”
Episode 5 will also focus on Woo-Joo and Ki-Baek exploring their feelings for each other. Furthermore, Jung-Heon will try to win over Woo-Joo again.
Go Kyung-Pyo’s Frankly Speaking airs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC and Netflix.
