JTBC recently shared the Frankly Speaking episode 4 trailer, featuring Kang Han-Na and Go Kyung-Pyo in lead roles. The K-drama currently focuses on the lead characters growing closer while they struggle at work.
In the previous episode, Song Ki-Baek (Go Kyung-Pyo) auditioned for the news anchor’s position at his broadcasting company. On Woo-Joo (Kang Han-Na) boosted his confidence, leading to an amazing audition. However, Ki-Baek realized that he joined the news agency to speak the truth, but the program had become rigged. Hence, he decided to quit his job.
The trailer for the upcoming episode 4 teases Ki-Baek and Woo-Joo finding solace during career hardships. This time, Woo-Joo may need the announcer’s comforting words as she struggles at work.

The Frankly Speaking episode 4 trailer begins with Woo-Joo praising Ki-Baek and calling him “cool” for quitting his job. Ki-Baek, on the other hand, is clueless and helpless as he doesn’t know what to do now. Someone even says, “You’ll starve to death trying to protect your dream.”
Meanwhile, Woo-Joo patiently tries to work with her ex-boyfriend, Kim Jung-Heon (Joo Jong-Hyuk), for her new variety show. But his reluctance is visible, and thus, her boss lashes out at her and asks, “What’s your deal with Kim Jung-Heon?”
Stressed and worried, she heads home. Woo-Joo bumps into Ki-Baek, who saves her from falling. The two share a heart-fluttering moment ending with Ki-Baek suggesting to her, “Let’s give this a shot.” It is unclear if they are discussing dating each other or something about work. The trailer ends with the two locking eyes while Woo-Joo’s hand is placed on Ki-Baek’s chest.
Frankly Speaking episode 4 release date and time
Frankly Speaking episode 4 will air on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 8.50 p.m. KST on JTBC. It will also stream on Netflix. Consisting of 12 episodes, the comedy-romance drama airs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday.
