As shown in the new trailer for episode 16, in the finale, viewers will see the police arresting Seol Woo-Jae (Jang Seung-Jo) after he confesses his crime in front of everyone. Then the trailer shows Seol Woo-Jae’s father, Seol Pan-Ho, lashing out at Seo Jung-Won (Kim Ha-Neul) after Seol Woo-Jae’s arrest.
The trailer further displays Seo Jung-Won going on air through her media channel to disclose some truths about the murder cases. Then, the audience sees Seol Woo-Jae inside the prison. He looks quite heartbroken and distressed by what has happened. At the very end of the trailer, Seo Jung-Won meets Detective Kim Tae-Heon (Yeon Woo-Jin). The two go on to have an extremely emotional conversation.
Seo Jung-Won tells Kim Tae-Heon that she can end her misery by ending things with Tae-Heon on good terms. Then Tae-Heon is seen embracing Seo Jung-Won and breaking down in tears. He says she can do whatever she wants, but he will always think of her and wait for her. Thus, viewers are in for an emotional finale episode.
