MBC’s upcoming highly anticipated K-dramas Bitter Sweet Hell released four separate posters featuring the character details. Directed by Lee Dong-Hyun and Kim Seung-Woo, screenwriter Nam Ji-Yeon pens the drama. It is a psychological thriller drama.
The storyline revolves around a psychological counselor, Noh Young-Won (Kim Hee-Sun), and her mother-in-law, Hong Sa-Gang (Lee Hye-Young). When one of Young-Won’s cases starts to infiltrate her family and unfold chaos, how she and her Sa-Gang team up together to save their family is all about the drama.
Bitter Sweet Hell unveils character posters
MBC drops separate posters of the characters on their official social media handle. The first picture introduces a mysterious character, Sena (Yeonwoo). She looks firm and confident in the photo. On top of her poster, it reads, “Do you know everything, teacher? What about your family?” This adds more curiosity to the viewers’ expectations about the drama.
The next image features Kim Nam-Hee, who plays Choi Jin-Jae. In the picture, he exudes different expressions, from laughing to worried to sad. He says, “I won’t live with fake Choi Jae-Jin anymore.”
The next poster features Lee Hye-Young’s character, Hong Sa-Gang, from Bitter Sweet Hell. She seems to look worried, suspicious, and sad. On top of her poster, it reads, “Shouldn’t we be suspicious among our families?” Leaving the viewers with a lot of questions about how her character will evolve in the drama.
Finally, Kim Hee-Sun’s poster is unveiled. She exudes confidence, sadness, and a little bit of doubtful looks. Her picture reads, “Can we be a family when we know each other?” This makes the viewers think about the secrets this family holds.
The K-drama is already making quite a buzz among the audience as they eagerly await the series.
