Missing Crown Prince episodes 7 and 8 aired on Saturday and Sunday on MBN. Starring EXO’s Suho and Hong Ye-Ji, the historical romance K-drama currently focuses on Crown Prince Lee Gon escaping the kingdom.
In the previous episode, Lee Gon (Suho) escaped the palace’s prison with the help of his stepbrother, Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu). The crown prince’s friend, Gab Seok, kidnapped Wol-Yi, Choi Myung-Yoon’s (Hong Ye-Ji) maid, assuming she was royal physician Choi Sang-Rok’s daughter. The final scene showed Lee Gon learning that Myung-Yoon was related to Sang-Rok’s house.
For context, none of the two lead characters are aware of each other’s true identities. In episode 7, Myung-Yoon, pretending to be Wol-Yi’s maid, convinces Lee Gon to let her accompany him. She, thus, helps the crown prince cross the town border without being caught.
