Boys Be Brave episodes 3 and 4 aired on Thursday, May 2, 2024, on Heavenly. Starring Kim Sung-Hyun and Nam Shi-An, the Korean BL drama is a love story between two opposite personalities.
In the previous episode, Kim Jin-Woo’s (Kim Sung-Hyun) former classmate and crush, Jung Gi-Seop (Nam Shi-An), suddenly barged into his life. The latter moved into Jin-Woo’s house even after his denial. Things became awkward when Gi-Seop revealed that he knew Jin-Woo liked him. In the end, Gi-Seop made a contract, stating that he would turn himself into a person who is Jin-Woo’s type in seven days. If he fails, then he will move out of Jin-Woo’s house.
Boys Be Brave’s latest episodes focus on the duo’s first encounter and first kiss. It becomes difficult for Jin-Woo to avoid Gi-Seop despite trying hard to run away from him.

Boys Be Brave episode 3 begins with a flashback featuring Jin-Woo (Kim Sung-Hyun), where he tries to do things to grab his father’s attention. Further, it shows that he did the same thing when he fell for Gi-Seop in college at first sight. But soon Jin-Woo realized that Gi-Seop was not his type.
In the present time, Jin-Woo still likes Gi-Seop but also knows that he is not his type. Meanwhile, Gi-Seop attempts to become Jin-Woo’s type by donning long hair, a cute dress, and a mole under his eye. Jin-Woo finds his roommate strange and gets frustrated listening to his ways to win over Jin-Woo.
On the other hand, Gi-Seop’s friend, Choi Balg-Eum’s (Jung Yeo-Joon), former lover, Ji In-Ho (Ahn Se-Min), returns to his life. Balg-Eum tries to avoid any encounter with his ex. Meanwhile, In-Ho and Gi-Seop bump into each other when the latter looks for a tattoo shop and forgets his phone at home. Balg-Eum spots the two and holds Gi-Seop’s hand, indicating that they are in a relationship so that In-Ho leaves him alone.
Jin-Woo, who chases Gi-Seop to stop him from getting a mole tattoo, witnesses the scene and misunderstands. Gi-Seop rushes back home to clear up the misunderstanding but cannot find Jin-Woo. The latter hides under his bed to avoid his roommate. Eventually, when he is about to come out, Gi-Seop lies on the floor, facing him. Boys Be Brave episode 3 ends with the two sharing their first kiss.

The Korean BL drama Boys Be Brave episode 4 begins with Choi Balg-Eum (Jung Yeo-Joon) and Ji In-Ho’s (Ahn Se-Min) story. A flashback features the two hiding in a classroom, sharing heart-fluttering moments. It further shows Balg-Eum making plans to meet In-Hoo at school, but his family call brings him back to reality. Because of his father’s financial condition, he decides to stay away from In-Ho.
Coming back to the present, Balg-Eum looks gloomy, thinking about the past. Meanwhile, Jin-Woo feels embarrassed recalling his kiss with Gi-Seop. The next morning, he quietly comes out of his room. Gi-Seop brings up the topic of last night, which makes Jin-Woo panic, and he rushes out to the library.
Through text messages, the lead characters talk to each other. Gi-Seop mentions that he was disappointed last night. He refers to something else, but Jin-Woo assumes Gi-Seop is referring to the kiss. Furious, Jin-Woo walks into the library with a bunch of books, where he bumps into a girl. She is Kang Hye-Jin, who checks all the boxes on Jin-Woo’s list.
The two go on a date where they learn that they are quite alike. Meanwhile, Gi-Seop manages to change himself for Jin-Woo. Towards the end of the episode, Hye-Jin proposes a second date to Jin-Woo, but he hesitates, thinking of Gi-Seop. The latter spots the two at a park and becomes terrified, recalling a past incident involving Hye-Jin. He runs towards Jin-Woo, holds his hand, and asks him to run away from her, calling her “dangerous.”
Meanwhile, Balg-Eum agrees to go out with In-Ho three times, per the latter’s request. All four episodes of Boys Be Brave are available on Viki. New episodes air on Thursdays on Heavenly.
