Project Y is going to be a noir drama set against the backdrop of Seoul’s Gangnam district. The storyline revolves around two young girls of the same age who plan to steal 8 million won (approximately $5.8 million) worth of gold bars. They scheme to steal it and run with it without any trace. Will their daring ambition help them have a different life or make them fall into a pit?

Directed by Lee Hwan, this K-drama, Project Y, is expected to be portrayed from a unique perspective. The director is known for portraying unconventional subjects through his filming, as he did in Park Hwa Young and Young Adult Matters.
The production includes Climax Studio, under which Parasyte: The Grey, Concrete Utopia, and other series and movies are made. Han So-Hee and Jeon Jong-Seo are confirmed to feature in Project Y, as per Newsen.
